Performance and Cost Controller
About this position
The Performance and Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring financial performance, managing costs, preparing budgets, and providing insightful reporting and analysis to support the organization's financial objectives.
Responsibilities
• develop and maintain performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of financial operations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present performance reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Monitor and control product costs and operational costs to ensure they remain within budgetary constraints.
• Conduct regular cost assessments to verify cost accuracy and identify cost saving opportunities.
• Lead and develop team to leverage productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and work with Marketing and Planning teams to reduce stock provisions (NRV & Aging).
• Lead in the preparation and management of budgets for various projects and operations.
• Develop cost estimates and financial forecasts to support budgeting processes.
• Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Other assignment.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting/finance or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Cost controlling, Accounting Management, Financial Reporting.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in managing team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Power BI).
• Excellent communication, confrontation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations/policies and compliance requirements.
• Creative & initiative in implementing new financial models for new projects if required.
• Good communication in English is a must.
• Available for travelling to plant if needed.
