Overseas PTP Manager
About this position
The Overseas PTP Manager is responsible for overseeing international payment transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, optimizing payment processes, and leading a team of payment specialists.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage all international payment transactions, monitor cash flow and ensure funding availability, manage payments in line with exchange rates, associated fees, and payment schedules to minimize currency losses.
• Serve as the primary liaison with banks and financial institutions regarding international transactions.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment issues and ensure seamless transaction flows.
• Ensure compliance with international and local financial regulations, including AML and KYC requirements.
• Identify and address risks linked to currency exchange rates, market fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
• Analyze and improve payment workflows for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to implement automated payment systems or ERP solutions to streamline operations.
• Generate and review reports on international payment activities including schedules, cost analysis, and currency trends.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions to support auditing and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of payment specialists, providing training and support for professional development.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or treasury, with a focus on international payments.
• Knowledge of international payment systems, foreign exchange management, and banking regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and payment platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on accuracy.
• Proficiency in foreign exchange management and international banking.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting software.
• Fluent in English communication.
