About this position

The Logistics Tower Lead (Global Procurement) is responsible for defining strategic direction and targets for logistics procurement globally, overseeing Thailand traffic operations, and leading a team to achieve key functional objectives aligned with Thai Union Group's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Support in setting overall Logistics Tower strategy and adapting Group-level strategy to AMEA / Europe context & requirements as needed.
• Set regional targets and performance expectations for Logistics category (incl. air / sea / land freight, and rental & leasing etc.) in AMEA / Europe respectively and for relevant Plant Purchasing / Thailand traffic teams such as on annual savings, contract adherence, responsible sourcing, and better supplier Net Promoter Score in line with overall Logistics Procurement target.
• Collaborate with other supply chain management functions (e.g., S&OP) to align on strategic directions of Logistics procurement globally.
• Ensure that regional Category Managers and relevant Plant Purchasing / Thailand Traffic teams implement Group procurement SOPs including on category management, strategic sourcing and contracting, supplier management and P2P activities; review and approve adaptations for regional business context and requirements as needed.
• Instill appropriate Group governance systems and control frameworks amongst Logistics Tower teams globally.
• Ensure effective communications between regional Logistics Category Managers, relevant Plant Purchasing / Thailand Traffic teams and BU end-users to understand, document and execute their sourcing needs and priorities.
• Consolidate region-level category demand across all users to drive economies of scale and maximize market competition to deliver value to Thai Union.
• Monitor supplier pipeline; search and identify potential suppliers based on business needs and issue RFI, RFP, RFQ as appropriate.
• Ensure comprehensive supplier selection criteria that balance between user requirements, BU objectives and global Logistics Tower strategy, screen suppliers, and evaluate competitive bids.
• Aggregate and synthesize market intelligence on Logistics supply trends globally and adapt category-specific strategy and execution to regional contexts as needed.
• Plan and recommend spending decisions.

• Experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
