Group Contract Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders (Group Legal, Finance, etc.) to align on procurement contract management and governance in line with overall Thai Union governance frameworks.
• Incorporate external best practices for supplier contract management; identify areas for continuous improvement and implement effective enhancements in collaboration with respective Category Managers.
• Provide inputs on critical Procurement KPIs and contract SLAs across all categories, and ensure effective translation of business requirements and/or region-specific nuances into contractual terms.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement Services team and Group Legal to define standardized Groupwide contracting processes and practices (contract drafting, request for approval, renewal / termination review etc.)
• Develop standardized contractual reviewing cadence across categories and process to proactively identify risk areas and mitigation actions.
• Assist key Global Category Managers in preparing RFI, RFP, RFQ as appropriate.
• Assist key Global Category Managers in preparing supplier selection criteria as appropriate.
• Create Groupwide master supplier/ service provider contract templates for all categories, outlining comprehensive set of terms and (e.g., delivery and payments SLAs, governance mechanisms, penalties in case of under-performance etc.)
• Monitor changes in regulations and industry practices across all categories and update master contract templates as needed.
• Set up and cascade contracting and contract management manuals and guidelines across all Procurement teams in Thai Union.
• Lead periodic sample reviews/ audits of supplier contracts to ensure adherence to Group contracting standards and policies.
• Service as the subject matter expert for all procurement contract-related matters and coordinate with Legal to support mitigation or corrective actions with Category Managers as required.
• Monitor contractual milestones (contract expiration, etc.) and trigger relevant Category Managers to take appropriate action as needed (renewal, etc.)
• Establish system and lead maintenance of all critical supplier records and documentation (e.g. audit findings) throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Translate responsible sourcing standards & policies to supplier evaluation criteria, contract SLAs and supplier management / development practices for Group Procurement.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and above in any related fields.
• Strong experience in Contract Management with leading team.
• High leadership skills, good communication and result driven.
• Able to communicate in Thai.
