Global Mobility Controller (Visa & Work Permit)

About this position

Be a controller as a point of contact to manage inbound and outbound immigration and other related formalities via a designated vendor to facilitate international assignments, business travelers and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound assignees via the vendor.
• Execute immigration and other legal formalities of international moves which are aligned with group policies.
• Suggest programs, policies and administration of mobility processes based on best practices to meet business needs. Facilitate the use of company’s mobility policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with immigration office/consultants regarding visa applications & renewals.
• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations and relationships with external vendors. Ensure that delivery of services provided by external vendors is efficient and transparent to ensure complete satisfaction with new hires and transferees.
• Initiates and ensures the completion of pre-departure/arrival activities for cross-border employees about arranging for proper visa and work permits.
• Cooperating within the team and stakeholders to ensure that immigration and other related formalities are captured properly.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in any fields or higher.
• 2+ years demonstrated HR experience, preferably in MNC large organization.
• 5+ years of Thai immigration management, preferably in BOI expertise.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and the ability to create charts, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Good level of English language proficiency.
• If possible, knowledge of travel management processes.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with any stakeholder / Very attentive to customer service and interpersonal relationships.
• Very well communication skill to manage employee especially top executive and foreigners.
• Be flexible and multi-tasking in order to tackle with various topics.
• Reactive, quick learner, open to grow and develop her/himself as well as eager for acquiring new knowledge.
• Rigor and accuracy on data and information management/reporting.
• Ability to manage sensitive topics in a confidential manner.
