About this position
Responsibilities
Category Management
• Lead TU Group-wide Category Procurement Strategy for Hardware, Infrastructure, Network/Telco and Software/Saas, partnering with technology Leaders for planning, alignment and execution.
• Develop category strategies with clear value, cost, risk and opportunities analysis, paired with clear, executable spend management and/or cost improvement initiatives from short to long term perspectives.
• Maintain strong awareness of the category through investigation of new supply markets and assess supplier capabilities.
• Maintain updated knowledge of the supply base, keeping abreast of market insights and trends.
• Possess proficiency in analyzing external market conditions, internal demand, commodity operational/financial data.
Strategic Sourcing
• Lead and own the sourcing process, from driving clear definition of requirements working with business teams, identifying suppliers, initiating and deploying key commercial requirements.
• Driving competition through running robust end-to-end tenders, negotiations and eAuctions; making data driven decisions based on analysis of total cost of ownership.
• Lead vendor negotiation, drive clear assessment in partnership with internal subject-matter experts.
• Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams (Legal, IT, Finance) across Contracting and Supplier Qualification.
Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering
• Build relationships with key business stakeholders in defining and achieving shared goals.
• Collaborate to proactively identify business needs and enable value creation through process efficiencies and speed to market, cost and risk management, supplier enabled innovation.
• Collaborate and lead internal procurement teams to deliver flawless end-to-end procurement projects (source-to-contract, procure-to-pay).
Supplier Relationship Management
• Drive performance, best value, and continued innovations from key suppliers through a robust supplier relationship management processes. This includes consistent management of contracts from award to implementation and ongoing performance reviews.
Requirements
• 10 years procurement experience in Technology
• Strong awareness of the IT/Technology supply market with procurement knowledge
• Strong negotiation skills and experience running sourcing events.
• Supplier relationship and performance management experience
• Able to collaborate well and build positive relationships with peers and senior leadership across different teams.
• Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority within the orga
