About this position

The Financial Analyst is responsible for consolidating financial performance, overseeing month-end closing, providing management reports and analysis, assisting in budgeting activities, and recommending cost reduction strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities to manage a team and improve financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Financial Consolidation: Consolidate the financial performance of the company to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Month-End Closing: Oversee the month-end closing process utilizing the SAP system, ensuring all financial activities are recorded and reported accurately.
• Management Reporting: Prepare and provide monthly and quarterly management reports and analyses, including Profit and Loss statements, Capital Expenditures (CAPEX), Inventory, and Selling, General, and Administrative expenses (SG&A). Compare actual results with budget, last year, and forecasts.
• Budget Assistance: Assist in the preparation and review of annual budgets.
• Cost Reduction: Identify and recommend creative alternatives to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Capex Control: Oversee Capex controller activities and ensure compliance with BOI documentation requirements.
• Stock Management: Supervise stock counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ad-hoc Assignments: Perform various ad-hoc assignments with a focus on delivering quality finance and business perspectives.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of four members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance, including project management, feasibility studies, or commercial finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, well-organized, logical mindset, and leadership qualities.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Creativity and initiative in implementing new financial models for new projects.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Availability to travel if required.
