About this position

We are seeking a talented Cost Controller (Samut Sakhon Area) to join our finance team at Thai Union Group PCL. in Samut Sakhon, Thailand. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient cost accounting processes, helping to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying trends and variances to support management decision-making
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain accurate records of all cost-related data and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency and identify areas for process improvements
• Support the implementation of new cost accounting systems and tools
• Provide training and guidance to finance and operational staff on cost accounting practices
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a cost accounting or finance role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Proficient in using financial reporting and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying process improvements
• Fluency in Thai and English (both written and verbal)
