About this position

The Continuous Improvement Travel and Booking Manager focuses on cost efficiency and policy compliance in travel management, ensuring continuous improvement of travel booking processes.

Responsibilities

• Focus on cost efficiency and policy compliance, key elements for effective travel management, while ensuring continuous improvement of travel booking processes.
• Manage continuous improvement of travel booking processes to bring the best practices of process optimization and cost-effectiveness to the company.
• Ensure compliance with company travel policies, local and international regulations, and risk management protocols, especially in cases of high-risk or restricted travel areas. Proactively assess and mitigate risks associated with employee travel, securing the best flights, accommodation, and transportation for Thai Union entities across Thailand.
• Book proper flights, accommodation and transportation at the best price for Thai Union entities across Thailand.
• The accountabilities cover essential areas, like handling bookings, policy compliance, and reporting.
• To enhance clarity, add a specific responsibility around "identifying and implementing cost optimization strategies within the booking processes" as a key accountability, ensuring continuous improvement focus.
• Use experiences in travel booking tool and recommend the practical tool for the company. Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of travel management technology tools and platforms that support efficient booking, tracking, and reporting processes, aligning with the company’s goals of continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Proceed and manage all booking under Thai Union Group (flight, hotel, transportation etc) under international and domestic policies.
• Establish a continuous feedback loop with employees and stakeholders to assess satisfaction with the travel booking process and use insights to drive continuous improvement and enhanced traveler experiences.
• Build relationship with all booking parties (airline companies, hotel etc.).
• Propose recommendation on the update of travel policy if necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in any fields or higher.
• 3-5 year-experiences in travel agency or airline company.
• Experience in travel process optimization or lean principles.
• Expertise in implementing travel management software or process improvement methodologies.
• Have connection with airline company.
• Have knowledge of travel management processes and tools.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with any stakeholder / Very attentive to customer service and interpersonal relationships.
• Very well communication skill to manage employee especially top executive and foreigners.
