Thai Rung (Thai: ไทยรุ่ง) is the only Thai-based automobile manufacturer. The company, established in 1967, began assembling Isuzu, Toyota, Nissan and Chevrolet vehicles. In addition to assembly, TRU manufactures its own brand car, under the name Thai Rung (also called TR), based on other small and medium truck platform.
About this position
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, managing quality targets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities
• Control and management quality assurance product, in-process, before and after.
• Assign a process owner for the APQP project, a cross function team to effective.
• Determine QA quality target for customer claim.
• Control of all implementation to achievement quality target.
• Control of all quality system and quality assurance activities.
• Leader team meeting analysis root cause for corrective action.
• Solving all quality problem and analysis and take the corrective action.
• Control all new model & PPAP activities.
• Follow company's policies & objective (IATF16949, ISO14001)
• Perform comply with IATF16949, ISO14001 requirements and report the results of operations by segment is responsible to management by period or the management review.
Requirements
• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering related fields.
• 5+ years for Quality Assurance / Quality control experience in automotive industry.
• Experience in automotive industry or related would be advantage.
• Strong knowledge in quality system.
• Strong knowledge of QC 7 tools, PPAP, APQP, 8D, Root cause.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949 and experience to achieve certification if preferred.
• Able to work under pressure, strong problem solving skill, and systematic thinking skill.
• Good command of English.
