Thai Meira manufactures and supplies High Strength bolts, Precision Fastening parts and Cold Forming parts. Our main customer is the automotive industry, where our products are used as critical links for engine, brake, suspension and chassis components. We supply our products and services to customers not only in Thailand, but also in other countries, as well as to customers in other industries.

About this position

The Production and Production Control Manager is responsible for overseeing production control and scheduling, monitoring plant productivity, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards. This role involves problem identification, reporting, and the implementation of productivity improvement systems.

Responsibilities

• Production control & schedule by TALON program.
• Monitor and Control plant productivity according to the production plan.
• Identify and Record problems relating to manufacturing process.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming product.
• Initiate actions to prevent the re-occurrence of nonconformance.
• Issuing and Review the Monthly Report in Manager meeting once a month.
• Develop working standard and perform productivity increase system and lost reduction such as TPS, CCCF, QCC, Kaizen, 5 S etc.
• Performance report and follow up the QMS in Management Review once a month.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to control raw material and external work.
• Control Inventory turn over.
• Make up Work Instruction and implementation.
• Capacity analysis.
• Part of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, and QOS team.
• Tooling and spare parts control.
• Preventive Maintenance and scheduling.
• Machine list and Historical Record.
• Material Handling and storage.

Requirements

• Have Experience in management and control of Automotive Production Line for at least 5-7 years or more.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Related Fields.
• Good command in spoken and written English.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Good knowledge of automotive industrial standard and environmental standard.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing technologies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
