About this position

The System Programmer (AS400) is responsible for developing and troubleshooting systems on the AS/400 platform, analyzing user problems, and preparing documentation and training for users.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems on AS/400 (coding).
• Create and troubleshoot systems as requested by users.
• Analyze user problems and design systems to resolve issues.
• Create system testing documentation (Test Scenario) and conduct system tests.
• Prepare user manuals and train users before the system goes live.
• Prepare documentation for system creation in accordance with SOX audit requirements, such as Design Screen, Specification, Program List, Test Scenario, Manual, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer System Development or related fields.
• 1-2 years of experience in system development using IBM, iSeries, AS400 (CL commands & Query), RPG coding.
• Experience with VB, Java, Oracle, and MS SQL Server will be considered a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Positive personality and attitude.
