About this position

The Tax and Finance Excellence Lead is responsible for safeguarding the company's interests through effective control processes, proposing process improvements, managing tax and transfer pricing processes, and supporting accounting flows for new business models.

Responsibilities

Key ROLES and Responsibilities:
• Internal Control
• Safeguard an organization, minimize risks and protect company's benefits.
• Evaluate control processes to identify weaknesses or gaps and implement remedial actions.
• Ensure accuracy of records and promote operational efficiency.
• Conduct compliance audits.
• Provide training on compliance issues.
• Promote culture of integrity and ethical behavior throughout the organization.

2. Process Improvement
• Analyze and propose process improvements to support continuous improvement environment. This includes the digitalization to make accounting or other process flows become more efficient and better in control.
• Provide advice on detailed processes in back-end accounting operations, e.g., work process, data flows, etc.
• Assess risks that might incur from the model change and highlight to management with possible solutions.
• Engage with IT to continuously improve processes. Be the project manager in accounting part to co-ordinate with external consultants and other related parties to ensure smooth go-live.
• Be able to advise and provide inputs from financial/ accounting perspectives as and when there is the flaws in the process or anything that will impact long-term operations.

3. Tax & Transfer pricing
• Own tax planning processes. Be able to advice the impact of tax when it comes to operational transaction from commercial team, costing team, and logistic team.
• Responsible for overall tax submission of the company. This includes mid-year and annual CIT submission. Ensure forecast accuracy to avoid tax penalty.
• Work closely with Regional Finance on transfer pricing (TP). Ensure no issue according to the export transactions. Work directly with the auditor who provide TP report and ensure the correctness of information.
• Highlight tax implication in the new processes or new business models and provide best solution for company’s interest.

Requirements

Qualification and EXPERIENCES REQUIREMENTs:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Master’s Degree could be from business.
• In-house accounting work experience is required. Auditing background is a plus.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in Accounting (MNC FMCG is preferred).
• Strong logical thinking. Able to sense check the correctness of numbers. Be able to advice the solutions.
• Demonstrate leadership skill to influence business partners. People managing skill (both direct and indirect) is highly required.
• Collaborate well with multi-functional parties.
• Able to supervise, lead communication effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in Thai and English.
• Master in SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Open mind to shift to the digitalized system in the future.
