Thai Beverage Can Ltd. (TBC) is a Thai-USA joint venture between Berli Jucker Public Company Limited, Standard Can Co., Ltd. and Ball Corporation of USA. The company is a leading manufacturer of two-piece aluminum cans and ends for beverages and beer. TBC currently has two state-of-the-art can lines and two state-of-the-art end lines within a modern facility.

About this position

Thai Beverage Can Limited (TBC) is seeking a Can Line Production Manager to oversee production operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute production based on the plan received from the planning department and ensure adherence to the schedule.
• Responsible for providing leadership, outstanding people skills and management to a team of Can line Production.
• Plan resource utilization, including materials, machinery, and labor, for maximum efficiency.
• Conduct weekly meetings with subordinates to assign tasks.
• Develop production policies and strategies to achieve the company’s goals (KPIs).
• Analyze and solve production line problems to increase production.
• Analyze and continuously improve production processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, presenting KPI performance quarterly.
• Provide guidance and support in implementing company policies and activities.
• Attend weekly executive meetings to understand policies and address various issues.
• Adhere to quality system protocols, including food safety regulations.
• Comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work under the management systems of ISO 9001 / BRC / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 / Halal, and other standards.
• Communicate essential information to subordinates to ensure they understand the policies and quality system regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 10 years’ experience working in Packaging business, Food industries, Aluminium Packaging or related field.
• Have leadership skills and Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Quality Management System, GMP, FSSC2200 ISO9001, ISO14001 and HACCP/BRC systems.
• A mindset focused on process improvement and efficiency.
• Good English communication in writing and speaking, including report writing skills. (Refer to TOEIC 650 score).
