The Mechanic Apprentice is responsible for assisting and performing the following under supervision:
• Maintenance Compliance
• Follow correct maintenance data.
• Use proper maintenance instructions.
• Adhere to tooling and equipment usage protocols, including alternate tools.
• Defect Management
• Report and document defects.
• Rectify defects during maintenance under guidance.
• Return defective components to storage.
• Operational Tasks
• Conduct critical task inspections and ensure completion of duplicate inspections.
• Record maintenance actions accurately.
• Perform refueling and defueling operations in compliance with the Fuel Manual.
• Maintenance Activities
• Inspect, test, service, modify, and install electrical systems, avionics, and aircraft systems within authority scope.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions using technical manuals, Component Maintenance Manuals, and approved data.
• Assemble and install replacement parts and components per technical specifications.
• Safety and Equipment Care
• Maintain clean work areas and ensure proper care of tools, refueling equipment, and aircraft handling equipment.
• Adhere to safe procedures during aircraft towing and ground equipment handling.
• Reporting and Documentation
• Report incidents promptly to the Supervisory Engineer.
• Provide copies of training, license, and authorization records to the company.
QUALIFICATION:
• Completion of AME course or equivalent certification.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Flexibility with work hours, days, locations, and travel requirements.
• Cooperative team player with adaptability to changing deadlines and priorities.
• Commitment to safety and quality improvement.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Sound knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and applied mechanics.
• Familiarity with computer systems and digital techniques for modern aircraft.
