About this position

Perform and support activities related to planning (material and/or production) area, such as planning, process and inventory control, monitor compliance of the production schedule in order to meet the agreed deadlines and maximize the production flow and/or forecasted production volumes and consumption needs of the factory.

Responsibilities

• Manage optimal planning of incoming raw materials
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials for production
• Minimize detention and demurrage cost
• Drive inventory management
• Grant optimal raw materials inventory level with daily monitoring
• Collaborate with production planner for smooth supply
• Coordinate with team for new material validation
• Collaborate with Central Base Material team for volume allocation and other required activities
• Responsible and collaborate with Quality team for raw materials claim management
• Provide reports for manager
• Participate in World Class Manufacturing activities

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or higher in any related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in material planning from manufacturing environment
• Experience in SAP is an advantage
• Has knowledge of International Trade
• Very Good English skills, oral and written
• Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills
