About this position

At Tetra Pak, we are looking for a Planning and Logistics Assistant Manager to oversee logistics activities within the factory, drive cost reduction, and ensure effective utilization of warehouse and logistics activities. This role is crucial in implementing global priorities and initiatives in the factory logistics areas.

Responsibilities

As a Planning & Logistics Assistant Manager you will be involved in the following areas:
• Member of Planning & Logistics Management Team
• Manage Optimal planning of incoming Raw materials
• Ensure timely availability of Raw materials for production
• Minimize detention and demurrage cost
• Drive Master-Scheduling of Finished goods production:
• Ensure Contribute to drive factory efficiency through optimal allocation of product per line
• Participate to the AM (Additional Material) S&OP process
• Drive Inventory Management:
• Grant optimal BM (Base Material) inventory levels with daily monitoring
• Optimal control of finished goods inventory through pacing of production lines and daily control on planned demand and actual deliveries
• Drive factory daily logistics operations:
• Ensure goods receipts from suppliers and deliveries to customer: resolve issues that might arise with deliveries
• Implement and lead a good warehouse, transportation, and logistics resource management in the factory. Ensure correct and timely reporting of KPIs
• Promote, secure, and improve safety and work conditions in your area
• Operational logistics optimization
• lead factory logistics, to optimize internal and outsourced resources to maximize short and midterm capacity utilization and efficient usage of working capital.
• Secure stock survival days and proper reorder level management for make to stock products. Secure FIFO from stock and control slow moving stock
• Secure logistics quality of service towards customers, incl. claim and complaints management / root cause analysis / eradication
• Strategic logistics management:
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive logistics activities at factory level for lowest possible total logistics cost (inbound, outbound, war

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in logistics
