About this position

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Material Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and meeting production deadlines.

Responsibilities

As our Material Planner you will:
• Maintain master data in APO and SAP to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Calculate material requirements, analyze stock levels, and communicate with production planning to mitigate supply shortage risks.
• Develop and manage monthly rolling forecasts for suppliers to ensure consistent material availability.
• Place orders with suppliers and shipping forwarders, monitor shipments, and update delivery dates and quantities as necessary.
• Schedule orders based on factory capacity, project schedules, constraints, block sequence priorities, order ETD requests, and production lead times.
• Create monthly optimal block plan sequences using Pro-planner and C-plan.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to address any losses.
• Actively participate as a member of the appropriate pillar, contributing to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

We believe you have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in APO and SAP systems; experience with Proplanner and Cplan is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles and practices.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
