Business Development Manager , SEA - Powder Processing Solutions
About this position
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager Powder SEA to be responsible for acquiring new growth customers as per agreed business development plan in line with our PP&T (Powder Process & Technology) Business stream roadmap. In this role, you will deliver on top-line growth, building strong customer partnerships as E2E System Solution provider & delivering commercial excellence.
Responsibilities
As Business Development Manager, you will;
• Build Business Stream PP&T Business Development plan in line with Market company needs and market growth roadmap.
• Support markets in selling Business Stream Powder solutions and products, drive and develop the PP&T business together with the PP&T team, in line with the global strategy and market growth roadmaps.
• Nurture opportunities using value books & mobilize right resources based on opportunity needs, buying process & opportunity maturity.
• Drive or actively support market in the customer management process. Understand the customer and create and convey our solutions and products together with market company and PP&T support.
• Opportunity Identification both Outside-In (customer discussions, marketing campaigns, tenders etc) & Inside-Out (market growth initiatives- BD plans/ new geographies/ new segments, contract renewals/ capacity expansion/ installed base management etc).
• Lead qualification and nurturing activities with close cooperation with marketing.
• Drive E2E System Solutions (Integrated sales, Cross- Selling opportunities).
• Create solutions, Quote & Negotiate deals/ contracts with customers using Value selling process.
Requirements
We believe you have;
• Minimum 5 years of Sales/BD experience with successful track record of generating new business (suspect to prospect) in Food processing.
• Knowledge and experience in Powder / Powder Handling / Powder Packaging / Powder processing fields of businesses are strong differentiators.
• Understanding of local market (SEA) / customers / categories mapping to identify opportunities.
• Ability to assess and qualify opportunities along with other functions – TS / Processing etc.
• Experience of dealing with higher level executives of Customers.
• Capability to participate in strategizing business plan.
• Self-driven with a can-do-attitude, hands-on individual who is an opportunist.
• Strong communicator and negotiator.
