Technical Solution Engineer

Are you passionate about solving complex technical problems and providing world-class support to customers? We're seeking a dynamic Technical Solution Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will collaborate closely with our customers, distribution partners, and sales teams to provide technical guidance, product recommendations, and innovative solutions in line with market needs.
Responsibilities
• To assist and support local/ cross border business in product and technical related field in agreed market segments and applications to develop new markets and customers in the areas identified by the management.
• Provide advice and support to customers, distribution partners, and sales teams on technical requirements. This includes troubleshooting, product recommendation, and validation of applications.
• Provide technical and product training to sales and other related functions.
• Planning and execution of activities/events, i.e. seminars, tech days, roadshows, participation in exhibitions.
• Conduct tests in local customer solution center to have a quick and effective response to the customer requests.
• Support the sales team onsite at customer projects based on a request set by sales.
• Evaluate the necessary technical support by project, do the required application test in the customer solution center to support the customer and the sales team for qualifying and/or developing the best solution, raising Leap requested if test cannot be done locally in alignment with the region.
• Interpret and validate the test results as well as preparing the suitable presentation on results and proposed next steps for the sales team or to the customer directly.
• Communicate with the customers to gather the necessary technical information for process and application.
• Conduct training and upskilling sales teams to develop the required technical sales skills and keep up to date knowledge of the respective BUs and the market trends.
• Conduct training for the customers through seminars, Tech Days or trade shows participation to support and develop tesa’s brand awareness and a partner for solution design and innovation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 year working experience or more with related experience in lab testing and conducting development assessments on her/his own. (University or professional experience).
• At least 3 year experience in Technical sales support performing customer consultancy and sales support for industrial consumables and/or investment goods.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
