Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for preparing management reporting as required for SEA (daily/monthly).
• Collaborate with regional- and business unit (BU) controllers, local accountants, and functional/business teams to meet reporting needs.
• Handle business controlling reports for SEA, including profitability by markets, sales reporting, margin variance analysis, and sales pipeline assessments, summarizing key findings based on the results of financial KPIs.
• Perform ad-hoc business and sensitivity analyses including feasibility study for business growth and expansion e.g., business development, penetration in new markets.
• Work closely with regional- and BU controllers, local accountants, and functional/business teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support financial mid-term planning, annual budgeting, and regular forecasting processes.
• Perform consolidation, analysis, and review to understand variances and highlight anomalies for timely rectification.
• Provide financial analysis and controlling support for various projects and initiatives as needed.
• Support on strategic projects related to the overall growth- and expansion strategy of the SEA cluster including new market entries, by market research and analysis, financial feasibility assessment, risk assessment, SWOT analysis, Go-To-Market strategy etc.
• This role reports to the Southeast Asia Controlling Lead.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related fields with 2-4 years of experience in financial controlling or as a financial analyst.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP (especially CO module) is advantageous.
• Strong command of English.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Commercial and business acumen.
• Hands-on approach, meticulous, and willing to handle details.
• Resourceful and able to work independently within a matrix structure.
