Manufacturing Strategy & Optimization Leader – SE Asia Region
About this position
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the regional lead to develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with the business group’s overall goals.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes across multiple sites, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
• Lead and support initiatives aimed at optimizing production processes, enhancing productivity, and reducing operational costs.
• Coordinate with plant managers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic projects.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of manufacturing strategies and identify trends.
• Assist in the development and deployment of best practices across all manufacturing sites within the region.
• Provide technical support and guidance to plant teams, ensuring the consistent application of process improvements.
• Facilitate training programs to upskill plant personnel and enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Support continuous improvement activities, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the automotive or industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects across multiple locations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with ERP systems, data analysis tools, and process simulation software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently to different manufacturing sites within the SE Asia region.
