Brand Portfolio Strategy & Innovation Manager
About this position
The Brand Portfolio Strategy & Innovation Manager is responsible for planning and developing brand portfolio and innovation strategies, ensuring alignment with market potential and product positioning, and achieving sales targets while managing budgets and profitability.
Responsibilities
• Plan and develop brand portfolio & innovation strategy from brand equity
• Create brand architecture through brand portfolio architecture development that aligned with development road map based on market potential analysis, product positioning & benefit, and product delivery through new product development, product innovation, product reformulation & repositioning, packaging rejuvenation, product line extension, pricing strategy, etc
• Initiate business development (seeking license, technology acquisition, raw material), clinical research & marketing research, collaborate with contract manufacturing, close coordination with R&D, manufacturing, market research and procurement
• Ensure sales target achievement and market share
• Manage and control budget support and profitability
Requirements
• Minimum bachelor degree from reputable university, preferably from science or engineering major
• At least 4 years of experience in Brand Management / Brand Development / New Product Development / Product Innovation / Business Development in dairy / consumer goods / pharmaceutical industry, and 1 year in managerial level.
• Has proven innovation, product development experience and concept development ability.
• Has excellent taste of creativity and proven in Design Packaging development ability & experience
• Has experience of running qualitative and quantitative research programs and strong analytical skills.
• Experience in creating and applying consumer, shopper and category insights into innovation brand strategy and actionable plans.
• Actively submit new idea for development
• Actively explore on social media to get new insight and update market competition
• Good organized activity and good record keeping.
• Strong leadership skills and have experience in handling & coordinating project team.
