About this position

As an HR Business Partner at Teleport, you will play a crucial role in addressing employee concerns, delivering advisory services, and ensuring effective HR process management throughout the employee life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Effectively addressing current employee concerns and challenges.
• Delivering advisory services throughout crucial processes and discussions, including annual reviews, career development talks, performance issue resolutions, and sensitive communications.
• Maintaining vigilant oversight and ensuring accountability for all HR process deliveries affecting the employee life cycle, encompassing onboarding, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, leave management, exits, policy enforcement, career transitions, and performance management.
• Supporting the implementation of engagement, recognition, Inclusion & Diversity, and Leadership connect initiatives. This encompasses Engagement Surveys, town halls for employees and leadership, focus group dialogues, site visits, Celebrating Performance events, and recognition programs.
• Providing valuable insights and feedback garnered from business operations and employee groups to HR functional teams responsible for HR programs and processes.
• Guiding line managers and supervisors in their roles and responsibilities within employee engagement and people programs. Offering advisory support when needed.
• Acting as a trusted advisor and advocate in processes such as talent discussions, probationary reviews, performance improvement plans, and managed departures.
• Serving as the primary liaison and managing relationships with stakeholder groups and key individuals.
• Effectively resolving any escalated issues and mitigating risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a business partner role.
• Proven track record in managing the full employee life cycle and HR processes.
• Strong advisory and communication skills.
• Experience in implementing engagement, recognition, and inclusion initiatives.
• Ability to manage relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Multitasking capability and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
