About this position

The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading various improvement projects and initiatives within ASEAN and Gateway Operations, focusing on enhancing safety, quality, and productivity while managing resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Leading TEBITs and KAIZEN projects in ASEAN Operations included Continuous Improvement Activity.
• Leading TEOA and provide implementation plan to ASEAN Operations.
• Leading TEBITs and KAIZEN projects in Gateway Operations included Continuous Improvement Activity.
• Leading TEOA and Provide Implementation & Execution plan to Gateway Operations.
• Make recommendations to and assist the Operations Manager in the development of manufacturing objectives, plans and strategies.
• Develop and implement new techniques, method and process to continuously improve Safety quality & productivity.
• Plan and analyze machine capacity and manpower needed.
• Develop quarterly and yearly budget proposals and manpower forecast and manage and control within the establish limits.
• Effectively motivate subordinates and delegate as appropriate, sufficient authority and responsibility for them to achieve departmental and individual objectives.
• Develop and implement manpower planning / training program.
• Develop and implement plans to ensure that in-process inventory is at optimum level and reduce rework scrap and wastage costs.
• Continuously improve on the working environment in the areas of housekeeping, workflow, and safety. Ensure compliance to all Company’s and Departmental SAFE program.
• Inform Operations Manager of unusual problems anticipated problems and take appropriate actions. Obtain approval in emergency situations.
• Sustain high morale and develop teamwork both within and across departments.
• Perform other job assignment or responsibilities as and when required by Division Manager.
• Follow TE specifications and comply with Environmental, Health and Safety management system’s procedures.
• Ability to organize, evaluate, interpret and summarize data for reports.
• Ability to prepare forecasts and analyze industry trends.
• Work across in ASIA Pacific related to TEOA/CI, Digital Factory (China, Japan and Korea).
• Represent ASEAN Operation best practice and coordinate in Global TEOA/CI included COE (Central of Excellence).
• Others assigned by Superior.

Requirements

• At least Degree in qualification. Minimum 6 to 8 years working experience in manufacturing sector.
• Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Six Sigma Problem Solving experience preferred.
• Experience in high volume manufacturing.
• Good in analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good in communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication in English (Chinese is plus).
• Background experience High Speed Stamping, Plastic Injection, Automation is preferred.
• Good Operational knowledge of SAP Operating System.
