Continuous Improvement Analyst - Gateway Plant/ Chachoengsao
About this position
The Continuous Improvement Analyst at Gateway Plant/Chachoengsao is responsible for driving productivity and material savings, implementing operational excellence, and leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Responsibilities
• Driving CCSI (Productivity saving) and OMP (Material saving) including identify new opportunity, work with cross functional team to build up project, calculation saving/ROI, maintain tracking for the project achievement and reporting out.
• Implement TEOA (Operation Excellence) deployment plans as following; business unit/plant strategic and operational plan.
• Lead in OEE and Change over improvement, collect relevant data, identify potential causes with manufacturing team, analysis and driving improvement solution.
• Implement continuous improvement throughout the organization using Lean and Six Sigma principles and eliminate waste in all areas throughout the manufacturing areas.
• Lead problem-solving through Lean - Six Sigma, root cause analysis and verify that permanent corrective actions are implemented.
• Implement new technology/processes to drive continuous improvement through TE Best, COE (Center of Excellence).
• Support plant in achieving their continuous improvement goals; cost-saving and SQCDP.
• Support for digital transformation and digital engineering to implement new digital solution to shopfloor area.
• Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems.
• Engage the Manufacturing team in the continuous improvement process to ensure that projects are identified, prioritized, and implemented in a timely and effective manner.
• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation.
• Stimulate management thinking by proposing new ways of doing things.
• Challenge conventional wisdom by demonstrating successful application of new methodologies, seeking out and piloting new tools, and creating innovative thinking.
• Document all activities as required.
• Comply with TE procedure and environmental and safety regulation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor / Manager.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.
• 3-5 years relevant working experience in a Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineer, Operation Excellence and Manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing methodologies and Six Sigma Problem Solving experience preferred.
• Have experience in project management.
• Have experience in industrial digital transformation.
• Knowledge of Assembly process is advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving technique; Lean and Six Sigma.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word Excel, Project and Minitab, SolidWorks or AUTOCAD, Visio.
• Knowledge in GD&T/SPC/FMEA/DOE.
• Good mechanical / technical skills.
• Good Project Management skill and effective in report writing.
• Able to prepare and present technical knowledge.
• Good attitude with growth mindset.
• Able to work under pressure assignment.
