About this position

The Asso. Consumer Market Insight Director (CMI) is responsible for leading market and consumer data collection and analysis to understand category dynamics, consumer behavior, and identify business opportunities. This role involves collaboration with various teams to develop strategies based on insights and track brand performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the market and consumer data collection, set-up, and analysis to understand the category dynamic, consumer and shopper behavior, as well as to identify trends, white spaces, and business opportunities in all countries in which TCP Group presents and potentially enters.
• Work closely with global and local marketing, Go-To-Market, and commercial teams to develop strategy based on insights gained from data analysis.
• Lead the performance tracking of brands and products in country and regional level. Manage the preparation of report findings and communicate findings and recommendations to related teams and management with clear and concise language.
• Lead the insight gathering research and the validation of new concept and product, as well as post launch evaluation, in new product development projects.
• Work closely with global and local marketing teams to evaluate ideas or materials in communication material development process, as well as campaign evaluation.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners in monitoring competitive landscape, capturing industry trends and regularly updating research tools to ensure accuracy and speed.
• Standardize research and measurements across countries to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Effectively manage and control research spending to meet business objectives.
• Drive team performance, teamwork, best practices sharing between countries, as well as smooth collaboration with other functions.
• Performed other tasks as assigned by line manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree (preferable) in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in market and consumer research, shopper or customer insights, data analysis, brand health tracking, retail audit, research for new product development.
• Proficiency with research methodologies, data analysis tools and techniques.
• Responsible for Thailand and other countries, in both Thai and Multi-national organizations.
• Experience in FMCGs is preferrable.
