About this position

Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of the aquarium, ensuring smooth operations, managing staff, maintaining facilities and upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and exceptional visitor experience.
• Supervise and manage operational staff, fostering teamwork and performance excellence.
• Ensure facility maintenance and equipment are in top condition, adhering to safety standards.
• Develop and enforce operational procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor and manage budgets to optimize resources and operational costs.
• Address guest feedback to enhance overall visitor satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to align operations with strategic goals.

Requirements

• Experience in operations management, customer experience, facility management and staff supervision.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Previous experience in the entertainment, Theme Park, recreational industry or hospitality industry (FO Divisions) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field.
