Head of Human Resources, Thailand
About this position
The Head of Human Resources in Thailand serves as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and Leadership Team, overseeing the Human Resources strategy, services, policies, and programs to enhance employee experiences and address organizational capabilities.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the strategic planning of the Human Resources function. Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction, establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives
• Work in close partnership with the LOC Leadership Team (LT) to ensure overall alignment of workforce planning. This includes correct budgeting and investment on talent development.
• Plan for potential workforce scenarios based on the business’ long-range plans. Conduct an assessment of workforce gaps and identify opportunities to proactively build the talent pipeline.
• Develop LOC employer branding, showcase talent strength and attractiveness within local market.
• As a Human Resources Business Partner with the ultimate accountability for the function to ensure that all Global HR initiatives are well implemented in the country as well as to provide the highest level of advice and recommendations to the executive teams and all stakeholders.
• In close coordination with respective HR global functions to ensure the seamless implementation of HR operations included but not limited to Talent Management from Talent acquisition to Talent development and retention, Organization Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Wellness, Industrial Relation, Human Resources Systems, and Human Resources Policies.
• Ensures that all HR Operations practices are well implemented along with establishment of harmonize working environment in regard to develop Employer Value Proposition.
• Responsible to the HR Operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
• Work more closely with the organization’s leaders in order to add value in key business decisions. Should be commercially aware and able to accurately anticipate, as well as tackle business challenges.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
