Symphony Communication Public Company Limited or SYMC is a Telecommunication network and service provider in Thailand, providing high speed and reliable network for both domestic and international connectivity and value-added services to serve the fast-growing data demand in Thailand and ASEAN. Currently, the Company holds the Telecommunication Service License Type II and Type III, permitted by Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (“NBTC”) to provide services for International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) both terrestrial and submarine coverage and IP-Virtual Private Network (IP-VPN). In addition, the Company has also received the Internet Operation Type I and II to provide internet service and operate International Internet Gateway (IIG) and National Internet Exchange (NIX).

About this position

The Senior Cloud Engineer will work closely with Cloud Specialists to deploy and manage cloud environments, ensuring high availability and security while supporting customer needs and driving architectural discussions.

Responsibilities

• Work with our Cloud Specialist to deploy cloud environments in public cloud & Local cloud
• Deploy and manage enterprise class security, network and systems management applications within an public cloud & Local cloud environment
• Implement highly-available, fault-tolerant, and scalable enterprise deployments follow design from Cloud Specialist
• Perform data and IaaS migrations from on premises environments into public cloud & Local cloud
• Perform support after sale and manage service with customer require
• Standby-call from Tier1 (Helpdesk) to support incident or manage service
• Perform delivery document after customer onboarded
• Provide best effort troubleshooting to customer
• Drive architectural and planning discussions with senior leadership with respect to strategy, trade-offs, risks, and resource needs
• Demonstrate the ability to product and technical challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ Years of Experience as a System Engineer, including expertise in designing and implementing network and system solutions.
• Firewall Expertise: Proficient in TCP/IP filtering, NAT, and stateful inspection.
• Networking Knowledge: In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, routing/switching concepts, and common routing protocols.
• System Administration: Skilled in managing Linux and Windows-based systems in cloud or virtualized environments.
• Cloud Networking: Hands-on experience in building network solutions using public cloud (AWS, Azure, Huawei) and local cloud services (VMware).
• Advanced Networking: Proficient in protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN.
• Data Center Expertise: Proven experience in data center network architecture and best practices.
• Hardware Proficiency: Familiarity with networking equipment such as Aruba, Huawei, Cisco, and similar systems, including switches and routers.
