Presales Security Specialist
About this position
The Presales Security Specialist is responsible for collaborating with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose security solutions, providing technical support during the pre-sales process, and ensuring successful deployment of security products.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose security solutions that align with business goals.
• Provide technical support and expertise during the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities.
• Conduct detailed security assessments and audits to identify risks and recommend solutions.
• Design customized security architectures based on client requirements, focusing on areas such as network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and data protection.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution documentation, and responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Engage in client meetings to discuss technical aspects of security solutions, answer questions, and address concerns.
• Stay up to date with the latest security products, technologies, and industry trends to advise customers on the best practices and solutions.
• Support post-sales and project management teams during the implementation of security solutions to ensure the successful deployment and integration of products.
• Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for both internal teams and clients on security products and solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners to leverage the latest security technologies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in network security, IT security and cyber security.
• Experience in a presales or technical consulting role within the cybersecurity domain.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration test.
• Strong understanding of security and cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, web application firewall, Data loss prevention, end point detection and response and cloud security.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Has a certificate in IT security or cyber security (e.g., CISSP, Security+, Pentest+, CISA, CEH).
