Symphony Communication Public Company Limited or SYMC is a Telecommunication network and service provider in Thailand, providing high speed and reliable network for both domestic and international connectivity and value-added services to serve the fast-growing data demand in Thailand and ASEAN. Currently, the Company holds the Telecommunication Service License Type II and Type III, permitted by Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (“NBTC”) to provide services for International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) both terrestrial and submarine coverage and IP-Virtual Private Network (IP-VPN). In addition, the Company has also received the Internet Operation Type I and II to provide internet service and operate International Internet Gateway (IIG) and National Internet Exchange (NIX).

About this position

The position involves designing and planning fiber optic networks to support customer and backbone services, along with consulting and data analysis to enhance network performance.

Responsibilities

• Fiber optic network design and planning to support customer and backbone.
• Consult to internal and external team, regarding service outside plant optical fiber network solution.
• Data analysis to support interruption and improve optical fiber network.
• Input and update data to Fiber management system.
• Maintain optical fiber Backbone for Network Stability.
• Coordinate the internal resources to all collect data and costs for after sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Computer Engineer, Computer Science, IT or Related Field.
• Experience of Outside Plant Optical Fiber fieldwork.
• At least 2 years of experience working in Outside Plant, Network, Transmission or related.
• Knowledge of basic fiber optic, OTDR test, FTTx system and Transmission products.
• Knowledge of Fiber Optic/GPON/FTTX products, Network products and Transmission products.
• Passion to learn new technology particularly Technology trend.
• Proficient with tools/applications for Microsoft Office especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Fiber management system and other.
• Strong Communication both Thai & English.
