Assistant Network Operation Center [NOC]
About this position
The Assistant Network Operation Center (NOC) position is responsible for maintaining network uptime and stability, managing faults, and ensuring effective communication during network outages.
Responsibilities
• Maintain the Network Uptime and Stability and support customer.
• Responsible for Fault Management to meet MTTR 3 hours and to keep SLA 99.95%.
• Internal and External Communications during and post Critical and Major Network Outages with all related information e.g., total number of impacted circuits, cause of incident, ETR.
• Performance Management and verify the circuit and core backbone before effect to customer service.
• Level 1 support Team.
• Strong ability to diagnose server or network alerts, events, or issues.
• Understanding of common information architecture frameworks.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 or more years’ experience in a technical lead.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule in support of a 24x7 team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent mentoring and coaching skills.
• Working in a customer-facing organization where customer services skills are essential.
• Strong organizational & time management skills.
• CCNA, or other networking certifications.
• Strong experience with basic Cisco router & switch administration.
