About this position

We are seeking a dedicated Business Legal Specialist to join our team in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry. The ideal candidate will have exceptional English proficiency and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in corporate legal roles, particularly focusing on business contracts and renewals. This role is critical in ensuring that our business agreements comply with legal standards and support our company’s goals effectively.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a variety of business contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, NDAs, and service agreements.
• Proactively manage the contract renewal process by monitoring expiration dates, renegotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Ensure all contracts and agreements align with Thai laws, regulations, and industry standards. Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance matters.
• Apply knowledge of US business regulations as they relate to contracts, corporate governance, and compliance in cross-border operations.
• Identify potential legal risks within contracts and propose strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and finance, to address legal concerns related to contracts and other business operations.
• Coordinate with external counsel, when necessary, to address complex legal matters or disputes.
• Maintain an organized system of legal records and prepare reports for management regarding the status of contracts, risks, and legal matters.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, legal developments, and market trends to optimize contract processes and strategies.

Requirements

• Any nationality with exceptional proficiency in English.
• Experience in the EMS or related industries is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5+ years in business legal roles, with substantial experience in contract management and renewals.
