About this position

As a Data Center Colocation Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and growth for our data center colocation business. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, developing tailored solutions, and building strong relationships with potential clients.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement:
• Proactively identify and engage with prospective customers in the target market.
• Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand customer requirements, challenges, and objectives.
• Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.

• Solution Development:
• Design and propose customized colocation solutions that align with customer needs and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and scalability of proposed solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals, including pricing, service level agreements (SLAs), and contract terms.

• Sales Support:
• Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team during the sales cycle.
• Participate in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
• Address customer inquiries and objections effectively.

• Market Research:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target markets.

• Product Knowledge:
• Develop a deep understanding of our data center colocation products, services, and capabilities.
• Stay informed about the latest industry standards and certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role within the data center or IT industry.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, Cloud Services, and security.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written in English and Thai.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools is a plus.

• Computer Equipment and Software:
• Computer literate with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
• Experience with telecommunication applications.
• Experience with equipment terminal access applications.
• Experience with network monitoring software applications.
