Product Research Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate product research projects, including new development, testing, and improvement of existing products.
• Lead and supervise the product research team to ensure effective collaboration and performance.
• Oversee data collection and analysis to support informed product development decisions.
• Assess and evaluate product concepts based on data and research insights, and develop effective product development plan & strategies accordingly.
• Identify opportunities for product improvements and provide actionable recommendations.
• Manage the product research budget and allocate resources efficiently within financial limits.
• Ensure all developed products meet quality standards and comply with government regulations.
• Identify risks in product development and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology & Processing, Chemistry, or similar major.
• 6+ years of experience in new product development, production, process improvement, or similar roles in FMCG industry.
• Understanding of local regulation for FMCG products (BPOM, ISO, SNI, etc).
• Understanding of raw material/packaging material/process improvement.
• Able to communicate effectively and creating actionable insights.
