The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for planning and optimizing transportation routes, managing the company's fleet, overseeing 3PLs, and working on current projects to improve distribution channels. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, highly motivated, a team player, and able to navigate ambiguity.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to synchronize delivery schedules
• Facilitate 3PL import services
• Develop efficient transportation routes and methods
• Coordinate return delivery process
• Plan and deploy company's fleet
• Record and oversee expenses
• Establish SOPs for internal processes
• Report maintenance and repair needs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
• Monitor and create dashboards for 3PLs KPIs
• Conduct meetings with key carriers
• Explore and conduct market surveys
• Develop long term partnerships and business strategies
• Transfer manual work to the system
• Collaborate with factories for transportation improvements
• Find ways to improve distribution channels
• Utilize company fleet for cost effectiveness and higher SLA
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in supply chain and logistics
• Proficient in data analysis tools
• Good command of English
