Account Development Manager - Lower North East
About this position
Lead Account Development Coordinator and work collaboratively with sales strategy team and sales team in the responsible region to develop & execute the business plan, including drive volume & share in the eatery channel, develop new market, new products and support execution of responsible region.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with Sales strategy team and RSM to develop a yearly account plan (AOP) to the SPBT standard for local accounts within the territory
• Set clear performance expectations to achieve growth in terms of sales volume and number of Pepsi outlets. This will include aligning Senior Management on equipment, pricing and Key Accounts marketing to achieve company’s sales & profit objectives
• Lead region team in the execution of AOP programs including the preparation & implementation of marketing initiatives & service
• Drive local events to connect with consumer and increase sales volume
• Work with RSM and Sales Strategy team to develop account specific strategies, standards for merchandising, range, promotions, pricing, equipment and communicates the same to the field
• Develop a wiring plan for all key accounts in region
• Identify potential new accounts and opportunities to develop existing accounts through Leading the negotiations of CDAs within company’s policies & budget, and monitor performance and compliance to take corrective action where appropriate
• Prepare and execute a Market Development Organization plan which includes staffing, coaching, developing, supervising, and evaluating the personnel required to deliver the business plan
• Delivers Brand/Package presence guidelines / Standards to market
• Ensure cold availability and drive best visibility in-store
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 5 years' experience in FMCG
• Good command of written and spoken English and computer literacy
• Strong sales skill ideally with prior experience in FMCG & retail
• Manage discounts and allowances.
• Understand eateries business.
• Good understanding of all business functions (Sales, Marketing)
• Strong communication skills across all hierarchy levels
• Good management skill on projects and business partners
• Good coaching and training skills
