About this position

The AVP, Treasury Dealer (Money Market) position at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) involves managing the bank's liquidity, bond portfolio, and maximizing profits through effective asset/liability management.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
• To manage bank's liquidity and hedge interest rate risk
• To manage bank's bond portfolio
• To maximize the bank's profit with the scope of Asset/Liability Management
• To execute transaction with other banks and input it in Treasury system
• To prepare necessary reports and comply to regulatory requirements and internal rules.
• To keep good relationship with other departments.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• A minimum of Bachelor's degree in a Finance/Business Administration/Economics or other related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experiences in Treasury ALM/Bond is preferable
• Possess proficient knowledge in Global Market Products, relevant regulations both local & international that have impact on Global Markets and have ability to comply with the regulations.
• Possess necessary license is a plus (Treasury dealer license)
• Good problem solving and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong combination of analytical, decision-making and interpersonal skills
• Good Command of English & computer literacy
