Senior Manager : Design Services | architectural design
About this position
The Senior Manager: Design Services is responsible for coordinating and managing the design processes for architectural projects, ensuring high quality and timely completion of design packages while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Co-ordinate and Work with regional design team to ensure high quality and completion of all sites/stores design packages.
• Work with cross functional team to ensure all functional requirements are addressed to regional design team.
• Ensure all design related jobs (Pre-construction works) are finished and achieves with the expected results within project timeline and budget.
• Perform, Consult and Support role to field construction team in design related matters, including meeting with landlord for design approval when needed.
• Manages and controls design processes to complete of schedule (project timeline of design process), tender process, material selection, budget and construction timeline.
• Manages and controls all construction procurement related activities, including PR issuing, PO issuing, bidding process, and process improvement.
• Source new local supplier to make efficient on cost management.
• Manages and controls with supply chain all construction inventory within warehouse, including forecast, ordering, utilizing, and writing off all construction goods.
• Consult and support RE and DT team in term of construction field during store under construction.
• Manages and controls all construction contracts.
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to lead team with harmony.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Attention to details.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Basic skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
• Knowledge of concepts, techniques and tools relating to coordinating and tracking projects.
• Knowledge of standard, practices and techniques of project management.
Summary of Experience:
• 7-10 years of working experience Architect or Interior design.
• at least 5 years of working experience in design project management.
