About this position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sales and Cash Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the sales and cash accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, local regulations, and Group Policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform day-to-day activities in Sales and Cash functions to meet the finance obligations of the organization.
• Ensure daily sales transactions reconcile sales records with cash receipts and bank deposits accurately.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Lead the transfer of Sales and Cash responsibilities from an external shared service provider to our internal shared service team.
• Coordinate with both external and internal stakeholders to facilitate the transfer of responsibilities.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to address any challenges or delays.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing processes during the transition.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve and execute financial processes and systems.
• Support assigned projects across revenue-generating business areas, cost control, and strategic operating plans within the company project portfolio.
• Assist with tax filings and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Support ad-hoc projects and reporting analysis as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent MS Excel Skills; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (D365) and POS systems is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Over 10 years of experience in corporate finance with a focus on retail and cash management.
• Experience in project finance and treasury with a focus on shared services transitions is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive, fast learner, Team player, responsible and accurate; ability to work under pressure.
• Outgoing and open-minded personality with good interpersonal skills.
• Professional with passion and ambition for this role.
