About this position

This position contributes to Starbucks success by sourcing and coordinating all purchases of raw materials, supplies, capital equipment, marketing premium & printing and contract services for all departments, and making sure we get high quality product at best market rates. Also be able to manage inventory optimization for Starbucks, including demand forecast planning, supply replenishment planning inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform local sourcing activity under 3V-quotation concept and all related necessary set up in data-based system.
• Complete the replenishment plan and ordering process for the local foods and drink i.e. fresh food, bakery, pastry and ready-to-drink at warehouse upon agreed level.
• Assuring that the order will be delivered based on purchase agreement and to handle the complaint process if there be any discrepancy.
• Manage purchase requisition, purchasing order and order movement in all required systems, including the interface activity to 3PL system, as well as to handle the necessary document to support the payment process to vendors.
• Sourcing qualified and reliable strategic suppliers to provide qualified and sufficient products and services for further growth under standard of quality of company at optimal price.
• Execute purchasing policies, including system development, for cost and supply efficiency with good inventory optimization.
• Work with parties to understand requirement and manage the upcoming demand.
• Verify data transfer from all inventory systems to ensure inventory accuracy in all systems.
• Co-ordinate for installation and repair & maintenance of Mul-T-Lock key at CDC store.
• Co-ordinate for stationery and supplies needed for stores and head office.
• Basic knowledge on industry and economic trends of core raw material, supplies and items to monitor price and supply situation and balancing purchasing-selling power.
• Provide administrative support to procurement function and SCO team as requested.
• Perform supporting supply to other functions as requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience in procurement, demand planning and inventory optimization, retail or food industry is advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in coffee/dairy/packaging industry is an advantage.
• Experience in procurement in whole demand-to-supply chain.
• Experience in vendor management will be a plus.
