About this position
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in the application & technical support and works cross-functionally to execute test cases, be passionate about quality detail, and have excellent communication skills for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems are on operating and working correctly.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate with product owners and development teams to assess requirements and ensure team understanding of the project requirements and testing objectives and engage in project review and status meetings.
• Review and ensure testing strategies and plans for all types of testing required for the products, including functional testing and non-functional testing, are comprehensive.
• Follow up on project progress and timeline, and oversee defects to progress on time.
• Work closely with the development teams to identify and escalate risks and quality issues, team obstacles, and resolve conflicts between team members.
• Providing technical support to team and business users when required.
• Coordinate with the vendor and the infrastructure team regarding deployment-related matters and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting daily production and test issues.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related field preferred.
• minimum of 1-4 years working experience in application & technical support, software quality assurance, or similar roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills with analytical thinking to identify the root cause of failure under pressured situation.
• Full technical proficiency in the theory and practice of the area of software QA testing.
• Business-level English skills, both written and verbal communication.
• Efficient communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Background knowledge of network & cloud services, microservices architecture, database, programming skills, and SQL queries (Preferable).
