About this position

The Facilities Support Engineer/Manager: Spare Part Management is responsible for inventory and asset control, warehouse improvement, education and training management, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
• SKU and amount optimization
• Inventory value control
• Statistical spare part Min-Max control, reorder, predict and quantity calculate.
• Spare part data collecting
• Ordering lead time management
• Troubleshooting manual and checklist to improvement the efficiency of engineering and customer.
• Document control/collect (Manual, technical, cutsheet or etc.)
• Lead training for facility engineer and customer support team.
• Lead manufacturer/trainer to arrange the training course
• Improvement the skill of inhouse team to care take the equipment
• KM (Knowledge management)
• Storage layout/arrangement and management
• Material handling optimization
• Mini stock review and adjustment
• Local spare part sourcing/replacement
• Spare part adjustment/improvement/modification to achieve better efficiency
• Obsolete part control
• Shipping/Handling cost optimization
• Follow up the action plan
• Inventory database management and improvement
• Contact local/oversea vendor (information, negotiation and coordination)
• Data tracking and matching
Asset Management
• Asset control system
• Asset evaluate and asset stock management
• Asset cost control
• Storage layout and material handling
• Asset refurbish/write off/demolish/sale
• Asset database improvement
Learning Management
• Design equipment maintenance media/material for facility and customer support team

Requirements

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (prefer Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) or Science (Engineering Management)
• Minimum 5 years in the role of warehouse and asset management with 2 years in Management Level.
• Learning access tools creation skill
• Strong background in communication and presentation skill
• Experience in working/coordinate with manufacturer/contractor
• Sourcing/purchasing/negotiation skill.
• Skills in material science.
Basic Qualifications
• MS. Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoints)
• Multimedia program (Photo, Video or etc.)
• Good in communication and presentation skill
• Able (Fair) to communicate in English (Writing, listening, speaking and translation)
• Warehouse Management Software
• Repair & Maintenance Software
• Leadership and positive attitude
• Able to work with multi-national or function
• Open mind
• Able to control uncertainty situation
