About this position
Responsible for the statutory financial statement and support group financial consolidation including all related disclosure requirements by SET and SEC. Key focal point on accounting policies and guidelines for both Statutory and USGAAP across the company’s group.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the statutory financial statement and support group financial consolidation including all related disclosure requirements by SET and SEC.
• Key focal point on accounting policies and guidelines for both Statutory and USGAAP across the company’s group.
• Lead and take charge of new accounting policies implementation, update any changes in the existing ones, and provide implication analysis to manager and management.
• Ensure compliances over governance and control when necessary.
• Respond and advise to finance related questions from other departments, prepare statutory accounts and facilitate the completion of both internal and external auditors.
• Assist manager to oversight accounting transactions to be a proper recording.
• Monitor to complete on month-end account closing to ensure the completion with integrity and timeliness of all accounting matters for areas supported, including various month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting.
• Review reporting for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet results, commentary, forecasting.
• Be a focal point on SOX control for finance function.
• Perform reconciliations for the corporation of the quarterly tax provision, computation for current and deferred taxes, and balance sheet accounts.
• Review tax returns and ensure compliance with prevailing tax legislation, ensure timely submission and payment of income tax.
• Be responsible for responses to any tax queries and requests related to the tax filing.
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation, Disclosure form, reporting and filing.
• Support the business and management in any business analysis, projects, initiatives, and others as assigned.
Requirements
• At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Accounting or Finance. Some experiences in Tax are preferably.
• Good knowledge of the accounting standard and corporate income tax.
• Ability to manage the multi-tasks, and work under pressure with tight reporting deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
