About this position

The IT Engineer – LAN Administrator is responsible for ensuring the availability and efficient functioning of SPRC’s LAN, mail system, and Windows-based servers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that SPRC’s LAN and mail system and Windows based servers are available 100% of time in utilizing technical expertise and experience to provide production system implementation and support services for Windows based servers (including all network services, e.g. file servers, directory server)
• Ensure that the storage and backup management of above systems are properly designed and functioning efficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System, Industrial Technology Management, Instrument & Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in computer-related work, preferably in LAN or Network administration area
• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, file systems, and O365 systems
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware architecture, Windows-based servers, services and storages, VM and cloud infrastructure, Active Directory, enterprise wired and wireless LAN/WAN and its security and management
• Ability to cover both field and desk work, including working during off-hours when necessary
• Excellent business needs analysis and project management skill, and good interpersonal skills
• Good command in English both spoken and written
