This position is responsible for both product and sales training to enable the field force in the SEA region, playing a crucial role in the implementation of training for employees, channel partners, and end users on sales and product specifications.
• Analyze needs and develop training programs for all SBD products.
• Conduct training for employees, channel partners, and end-users on sales and product specifications, emphasizing value as a solution provider.
• Stay updated on competitors' offerings and perform benchmark analyses to highlight SBD product superiority.
• Create and maintain guides and collateral for all brands, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Lead educational programs for new employees.
• Maintain cutting-edge, user-friendly online training tools.
• Continuously update and improve content in SBD‘s online resources, ensuring 100% course completion for new and existing employees.
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for SBD Managers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and Marketing on commercialization efforts.
• Oversee technical certification programs and manage related databases.
• Continuously work on self-improvement to stay current on products, sales, and supervisory practices.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree/ professional technical education.
• Experiences:
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in the tools manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in creating and implementing training programs, particularly in sales training for teams and channel partners.
• Extensive technical product knowledge and strong business acumen.
• Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
• Skills:
• Expertise in designing and delivering both in-person and online training programs.
• Strong understanding of product specifications and competitive offerings.
• Proficient in sales processes and techniques.
• Ability to analyse training needs and conduct competitive analysis.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple initiatives.
• Familiarity with online training tools and platforms.
• Experience leading Train-the-Trainer sessions and managing certification programs.
• Ability to use innovative pedagogical approaches in training.
