About this position

The Legal & Compliance position involves managing legal matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing legal advice to various departments within the company.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and review various types of commercial contracts and legal documents, including but not limited to sales and purchase contract, services contract, non-disclosure agreement, power of attorney, etc.
• Manage disputes related to contracts.
• Provide legal advice on various kinds of matters, especially related to labor laws and occupational safety, health and environment laws to the company to ensure that the day-to-day business operation of the company is complied with relevant applicable laws and regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams or departments including human resources, procurement, finance and accounting, admin, government affairs, IT and operations to ensure that the day-to-day business operation of the company is met and align with business objectives as well as comply with relevant applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide training to all departments of the company on legal best practices related to compliance issues concerning business operation in company’s factories at Rayong site.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law or above.
• Having at least three (3) years of work experiences in legal & compliance roles.
• Certified Lawyer License is advantageous and desirable.
• Experienced in manufacturing business would be beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English, and computer literacy.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment, with excellent organization skills and having multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a sense of legal risk awareness.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
