Project Scheduler - (Contract 6 Months)
About this position
The Project Scheduler will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules across all phases, ensuring compliance with technical and contractual conditions, and managing the critical path of the project.
Responsibilities
• Creates and/or maintains schedules of all levels across all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning) in compliance with technical and contractual conditions. Develops and maintains a process to proactively manage the critical path of the project.
• Builds a realistic master schedule that correctly represents the Owner project lifecycle and accurately defines the activities, sequence, relationship logic, and resources required to execute the complete project scope at a level of detail appropriate for the current phase and execution model.
• Provides the basis of schedule to document the basis for the development of the master project schedule while identifying key elements, constraints and special considerations, including but not limited to the schedule development methodology, all assumptions, individual logic and exclusions, etc.
• Establishes a baseline schedule and critical path for the subsequent project phase by conducting interactive planning sessions with the project team, reviewing details with responsible leads, and ensuring buy-in and ownership by the PM, project team, and stakeholders.
• Maintains a progress measurement system for engineering, procurement, and construction work for the complete project scope, and ensures that contractor data can be integrated in the overall progress measurement system.
• Facilitates the monthly progress and schedule update process, including review and analysis of contractor monthly/weekly schedule updates, and integration of contractor and external interface schedules into the overall Owner's master schedule.
• Analyzes schedule and progress deviations, float consumption, site conditions, and execution strategy changes for impact on the critical path and prepares what-if studies, change order and delay analyzes and mitigation recommendations for PM review.
• Provides As-Built schedule and schedule data for benchmarking, lessons learnt etc.
• Be actively involved/engaged ENG-MTP-PS taskforces/assignments.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, major in engineering, business administration, accounting, or other project management-related fields with 3-5 years experiences in project planner/scheduler preferably in chemical or process industry projects.
• Demonstrated ability to build good quality schedules in MS-Project, Primavera P6 (preferred)
• Good communication in English and computer literacy are required.
