Junior Utility Engineer (1 Year Contract - Renewable)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Support the Utility Specialist
• Contribute to the utility projects as a process engineer.
• Provide utility overview and description including system design with demand & supply in MTP Utility Compendium SharePoint.
• Update P&ID, PFD and concept drawing of utility systems.
• Support study of utility projects or MOC, Energy projects.
• Provide process documents such as process calculation sheet, process datasheet, process description, P&ID mark-up, FEL document, if necessary.
Requirements
• A bachelor's or master’s degree in chemical engineering or a related engineering field
• Strong background in chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering principles.
• Knowledge of process design, process simulation, process control, and optimization.
• Understanding of chemical/utility processes, unit operations, and equipment design.
• Familiarity with process safety, environmental regulations, industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools e.g., Process simulation programs (Aspen HYSYS, Pipenet, Pipesim, etc.), Data analysis tools (Tableau, etc.), Auto CAD.
